We are the Self-Assembly, Recognition, and Applications (SARA) Research Team.
\nOur mission is to provide solutions to problems of medical interest through the multiscale design of new molecular systems.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Our current main goal is to develop novel binders capable of capturing with high affinity protein biomarkers for the development of new ligands for medical, biological, and pharmaceutical applications. The concerted effort of our multidisciplinary team and collaborators aims to tackle this problem from the computer, to the bench, to the patient’s side.
\nThis line of research has been funded by the Alternatives Research and Development Foundation (ARDF) and the Italian Association for Cancer Research (AIRC). <\/p>\n

We are also interested in other aspects of molecular self-assembly and molecular recognition. Please refer to the Publications and Research pages for a detailed overview of our past and current work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
